Job summary

Blue Acorn iCi is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end planning, execution, and tracking of projects, coordinating across engineering, data, design, and business teams in a hybrid setup based in San Jose, CA.

You will manage scope, timeline, budget, resources, and risk while maintaining executive dashboards and RAG reporting. Experience with Jira/Workfront/MS Project and Agile/Waterfall is required to tailor approaches per project needs.

Qualifications

• 4-8+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, or a related field.
• Experience planning, executing, and tracking projects end-to-end, including scope, timeline, budget, resources, and risk.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Workfront, MS Project, or similar.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to apply the right approach based on project needs.
• Experience managing cross-functional dependencies across engineering, data, design, and business teams.
• Ability to build and maintain project plans, milestone tracking, and status reporting, including RAG status, dashboards, and executive updates.
• Strong risk and issue management skills, including proactively identifying blockers and driving resolution.
• Experience with resource planning and allocation, including coordinating onshore/offshore teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience running status meetings, steering committees, and leadership readouts.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments while managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Willingness to work directly with customers/stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure delivery alignment.
