Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation is seeking an Execution Project Manager to lead Distribution Substation Optimization (SO) and Area Capacity (ACU) projects in Carolinas West. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule, cost, and regulatory commitments, and report project status to stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience (or 9+ years with HS/GED). Hybrid work with 3 days on site and 5–15% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years related work experience required.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years experience, High School/GED with 9+ years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to internal/external organizations supporting the project.
• Structure and lead project meetings and reports to ensure open communication and status reporting.
• Ensure PMCoE standards are followed and reports presented to governance teams.
