Job summary

Stanford University’s Department of Emergency Medicine seeks a Project Manager for the EDAC and SDSA Core. This Administrative Services Administrator 1 role will independently manage a portfolio of cross-functional data, analytics, operational, quality-improvement, and research projects from intake through completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant project or program management experience.
• Ability to drive projects forward, manage dependencies and risks, and elevate issues.
• Experience creating project plans, timelines, dashboards and portfolio-tracking systems.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder-management skills; clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage multiple EDAC/SDSA projects across lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, dashboards and logs.
• Monitor status, risks, inputs, approvals, and milestones; escalate issues.
• Coordinate intake and routing among investigators, analysts and partners.
• Create portfolio reports and analyze metrics to identify bottlenecks.
• Facilitate meetings, prepare materials, assign ownership and timelines.
• Improve project-management procedures and intake workflows.
