Job summary

National Grid is hiring a Project Manager for the New England Distribution Line Project Management team in a hybrid role based in Massachusetts. You will lead a portfolio of electric distribution infrastructure projects, manage schedules with Primavera P6, and coordinate with diverse stakeholders to meet timelines and budgets.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.
Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to independently solve problems and exercise sound judgment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to travel throughout the service territory.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of capital projects from initiation through construction and closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and provide monthly schedule updates.
Identify project risks and issues early and work collaboratively to resolve them.
Monitor, forecast, and report project budgets, financial performance, and milestones.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
Support project closeout activities, including financial reconciliation and customer-related project requirements.
