Alta Planning + Design is seeking a full-time Project Financial Analyst in Houston, TX to support project managers and maintain budgets, invoicing, and financial reporting. You will collaborate with PMs to ensure accurate costs and revenues, manage project documentation, and assist with collections and process improvements.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in project accounting, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in project accounting or similar role.
• Experience in deadline-driven, project-based environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review client invoices monthly and resolve discrepancies.
• Support project budgeting and financial reporting with PMs.
• Maintain accurate project folders and documentation.
• Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Finance to improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Provide backup support and participate in finance/ops meetings.
