Job summary

MK Search is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst in Houston, TX to provide financial insights across project performance, inventory, and operational reporting. You will partner with Accounting, Sales, and Project Management to analyze data, identify trends, and help leadership make informed decisions.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to translate complex data into actionable recommendations for executives and teams across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant financial analysis experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate across accounting, sales, operations, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project financials including costs, performance, profitability, and overall financial health.
• Partner with Sales and Project Management to identify concerns and recommend solutions.
• Analyze inventory activity and develop reporting around utilization and trends.
• Collaborate with Accounting to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare financial comparisons, variance analyses, and ad hoc reporting for leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, control costs, and streamline reporting processes.
• Translate financial and operational data into insights for business decisions.
• Assist with ongoing financial analysis and special projects.
