Job summary

ONEOK is seeking a Project Engineer to lead medium‑capex facility projects within the Natural Gas Gathering & Processing segment. You will drive initiatives from initiation through closeout, coordinating operations and commercial stakeholders to deliver on schedule and within budget.

The role requires a 3+ year engineering/project management background in midstream or oil & gas, with strong communication and vendor management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related field required.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, operations and/or project management preferred.
• Experience with natural gas and/or NGLs in pipeline systems is desired.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Excel/Projects/Access/Word) for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and/or perform engineering and/or project management activities related to design, procurement, construction, or optimization of company assets.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and third‑party contractors to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and milestone plans; track progress and report status.
• Establish and manage contracts and purchase orders; ensure work conforms to agreements.
