Job summary

The University of Denver is seeking a Project Coordinator to join University Relations’ inaugural project management team, independently guiding projects from intake to completion and supporting operations across the division. This role thrives in a collaborative environment and is energized by building systems and processes from the ground up.

Reporting to the Strategic Initiatives Support Manager, you will partner with campus colleagues and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or military training.
• One (1) or more years of experience in project coordination, project management, marketing operations, communications, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage multiple concurrent projects from intake to completion, including defining scope, timelines, tasks, progress, and stakeholder updates.
• Process and triage incoming project requests through the University Relations PM system.
• Maintain organized project records, status reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration to ensure timely delivery of project components.
• Identify risks or bottlenecks early and communicate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Develop and refine PM processes, templates, and workflows as part of an inaugural team.
