Job summary

The Geneva Foundation is seeking a Project Control Analyst to support government contracting projects across the full lifecycle. You will work with the Project Team on financial forecasting, cost analysis, and reporting, ensuring compliance with DoD standards.

This hybrid-remote role rotates on-site at Bethesda, MD; Frederick, MD; Fayetteville, NC and Tacoma, WA, with flexible scheduling and a focus on accuracy and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in DoD settings with understanding of Cost Accounting Standards, FAR, DFARs, and Uniform Guidance.
• End-to-end life cycle understanding: proposal development through contract close out.
• Familiar with contract types (FFP, T&M, Cost Plus).
• Strong financial reporting skills: forecasting, planning and analysis, cash flow, compliance.

Responsibilities

• Interface with the Project Team to provide financial support and analysis.
• Collaborate to build work breakdown structures for accurate time charging and projections.
• Process and maintain records for grants/contracts and subcontract/vendor agreements.
• Review and report project costs and accruals.
• Prepare bottom-up forecasts, ETC/EAC, and input into the financial management tool.
• Assess forecast trends and remediate issues with the Project Team.
• Ensure accuracy of cost, revenue, and profitability reporting per contracts.
• Work with procurement to validate funding and contract types.
• Prepare analyses and reports to keep projects within negotiated parameters and government guidelines.
• Assist with schedule risk assessments to identify cost and schedule risks.
• Maintain funding availability through expenditures tracking and funding requests.
• Incorporate contract changes into control systems and monitor baselines.
• Communicate financial status and metrics with leadership and customers.
• Assist in close-out activities including reconciliation of expenses and invoices.
