KPFF Consulting Engineers in Seattle is seeking a detail-oriented Project Billing Accountant to support the financial management and successful delivery of projects across multiple disciplines. The role partners with project managers, technical staff, and leadership to oversee project billing, maintain accurate records, and provide meaningful financial insights for informed decisions.

Qualifications

• AA degree with accounting/finance emphasis.
• Minimum 2 years related billing experience.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting process.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and take initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with BST 10 Global accounting system (desired).

Responsibilities

• Process and track client billing invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
• Read contracts and interpret billing requirements.
• Project setup, including bill structure, rate and classification information.
• Payables entry of sub-consultant invoices.
• Create cost reports in BST 10 Global accounting software.
• Project cost reporting for clients with special requirements.
• Manage accounts receivables on projects.
• Work closely with Project Coordinators and Project Managers for reporting and invoice approvals.
