KPFF Consulting Engineers in Seattle seeks a seasoned Project Accountant to support Civil/Structural and Transportation groups. You will manage invoices, contracts, cost tracking, and project documentation, ensuring timely billing and accurate records.

The role requires strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with clients and subconsultants. This position offers an office-based, collaborative environment in downtown Seattle.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years experience in invoicing and project contract administration
• Extensive experience in general accounting practices (AP/AR, invoicing, year-end)
• Proficient in Word processing, Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Projects, SharePoint, Teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 4 years combined experience in contract management, consulting, and/or public & private agencies
• 4-5 years combined experience in budget management and tracking
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with varying priorities
• Team-oriented, organized, detail oriented, self-motivated

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review project invoices and progress reports
• Process contracts and change orders/amendments/supplements
• Set up and manage spreadsheets for fee estimates, cost tracking, and billing
• Review and process subconsultant invoices
• Correspond with clients, organizations, and subconsultants
• Create and maintain project fee documents, scopes of work, subconsultant agreements, and schedules
• Maintain structured file and folder systems for project documentation
• Organize monthly staff meetings and coordinate project meetings
• Coordinate construction support activities, including RFI routing and resolution
• Prepare and/or finalize reports and memorandums
• Coordinate project deliverables with project team and clients
• Coordinate project submittal QA/QC activities
• Collaborate with Accounting on project set ups and invoicing matters
• Provide general support to project managers and principals
• Backup other administrative staff
• Adapt to changing priorities and assist with special projects
