Job summary

HGA in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a talented Project Architect to join our Community + Live, Workplace & Government practice. You will lead the development of construction documents, coordinate across disciplines, and mentor team members in technical skills and standards.

You will collaborate with Senior Designers and Project Managers to deliver innovative design solutions while maintaining our high standards for client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required.
• Architectural licensure is required.
• LEED accreditation is preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience on small to mid-size projects.
• Deep understanding of programming, codes, and detailing.
• Strong leadership and collaboration in teams.
• Revit is required; AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape and other tools are desirable.
• Experience with project management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of construction documents and maintain design intent.
• Translate goals into creative, functional design solutions.
• Coordinate architectural and engineering systems across disciplines.
• Participate in client meetings and maintain stakeholder relationships.
