Job summary

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Project Accountant to join our team to support project financials, billing, and cost control across multiple projects.

You will work with Project Managers to track costs, prepare job cost analyses, and ensure accurate invoicing and documentation. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with 3–5+ years of accounting experience, and familiarity with Deltek Vantage Point is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, financial or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience managing an accounting function in a medium- or large-size company.
• Experience with Deltek Vantage Point (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with PMs regarding contract documents, change orders and billing
• Prepare monthly construction Job Cost Analysis reports
• Prepare final invoices and supporting documents
• Forecast future costs to support project within budget
• Maintain billing folders with all supporting documents
