The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is seeking a motivated Coordinator, Technical Programs to support the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) and its network of volunteers, committees, and technical initiatives that serve more than 30,000 structural engineers worldwide.

In Reston, VA, this hybrid role supports program development, webinar delivery, and publication efforts, while coordinating meetings and volunteer activities across ASCE and SEI.

Responsibilities

• Support committees, task groups, and volunteer leaders in executing projects and initiatives.
• Coordinate meetings, events, webinar logistics, and volunteer activities.
• Track project timelines, deliverables, and committee activities.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of webinars, workshops, short courses, and professional development programs.
• Support the development of technical reports, publications, presentations, and other professional resources.
• Maintain program records, databases, surveys, and reporting information.
• Collaborate across SEI and ASCE to support member engagement and program success.
• Contribute to special projects and initiatives across SEI and other technical groups as assigned.
