Job summary

The American Society of Civil Engineers in Reston, VA is seeking a strategic professional to develop and implement annual goals that support pathways, recruitment, retention, and skills development for civil engineers. You will lead programs, define evolving roles and career pathways including ASCE's Body of Knowledge, and coordinate content, events, and workforce resources with committees and volunteers.

This hybrid role collaborates with staff and external partners to address workforce

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3-5 years of engineering, association, workforce development, education, or related experience desired.
  • Strong project management and volunteer leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business systems.

This position has hybrid work from home flexibility in the Northern VA/DC Metro area.
