Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Program Planning Scheduling Analyst to join their Redondo Beach team. The role focuses on developing the integrated master plan and schedule, coordinating across multiple functions to meet program objectives, and managing risk and critical paths.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and requires a US Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one, with responsibilities spanning planning, cost and schedule controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience OR Master's with 3 years OR Associate's with 7 years OR HS diploma with 9 years of related experience.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Project and IMS detail development.
• Proven background with Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and support for implementation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and schedule to meet program objectives.
• Ensures schedules are integrated across finance, engineering, material, manufacturing and quality.
• Tracks plans, performs risk analysis, and resolves critical path conflicts.
• Uses PM tools to gauge progress and focus on variances in critical areas.
