Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a Sr. Principal Program Planning Scheduling Analyst to join our team in Palmdale, CA, with possible locations in El Segundo or San Diego and up to 50% travel.

The role emphasizes developing and coordinating the integrated master schedule (IMS), ensuring cross-functional integration across finance, engineering and manufacturing, and applying Earned Value Management to monitor performance. A Secret clearance is required for start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in program planning/scheduling or Master’s with 6 years
• Active Government Secret clearance or higher
• Ability to obtain Program Access
• Demonstrated experience with MS Project and IMS
• Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) practices
• Preferred: SAP and COBRA experience

Responsibilities

• Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and schedule to meet program objectives
• Ensures schedules are integrated across finance, engineering, manufacturing and quality
• Tracks plans, performs risk analysis, resolves critical path and network logic conflicts
• Uses Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management to gauge progress and identify variances
