Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks an Administrative Manager to lead program operations for the Computational Biology Program (Comp Bio) and the Translational Data Science Integrated Research Center (TDS IRC). You will develop policies, manage budgets, coordinate faculty recruitment, and liaise with internal departments and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and three years of administrative management or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in academic or research organizations preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong budgeting and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onboarding and training for program staff and ensure proper orientation to program operations.
• Develop, monitor, and manage program budgets; coordinate with Finance, Grants Administration and other offices.
• Develop, administer, and improve policies and procedures for program operations and administration.
• Coordinate faculty recruitment, merit reviews, and related administrative requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and attend program and committee meetings, documenting proceedings and action items.
