Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks an Administrative Manager I to oversee program operations for the Computational Biology Program and Translational Data Science Integrated Research Center. You will manage budgets, coordinate faculty recruitment, and liaison with institutional offices and external partners.

The role offers partial campus and remote work. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and three years of administrative management experience.

Qualifications

• Experience budgeting, forecasting, and managing financial resources.
• Strong written and verbal communication across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onboarding and training for program staff.
• Develop, monitor, and manage program budgets with collaboration across Finance and Grants Administration.
• Create and maintain program policies and procedures for operations and administration.
• Serve as liaison between program leadership, faculty, staff, and external organizations.
• Coordinate space, equipment, and resource planning for research activities.
• Support faculty recruitment processes and merit reviews.
• Plan and attend program meetings, track decisions and action items.
• Coordinate seminars, conferences, and scientific events.
