Mayo Clinic is seeking a Contract Specialist to support the Rural Health Transformation Grants Program in a hybrid role, with travel within a 100 mile radius of Mayo Clinic Health System campus. The role requires a bachelor’s or associate degree with healthcare experience, strong negotiation, and excellent communication.

You will review contracts, develop risk strategies, and collaborate with Marketing and Finance to support program objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare with at least 5 years of healthcare experience.
Associate's degree with 7 years of relevant experience may be considered.
Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to handle confidential information.
Experience in contracts and regulatory requirements preferred; strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage institutional expectations, patient interactions, customer relations and business agreements.
Review, analyze and negotiate contracts and vendor/business associate agreements.
Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor patient and customer experience and outcomes.
Research scope of services and requirements for patients, clients and partners.
Assist in negotiation strategies; identify risks and mitigation options.
Collaborate with Marketing and Finance on pricing, marketing materials, and billing questions.
