Job summary

General Atomics in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to support the Program Finance team. The role requires strong Earned Value Management experience and DoD compliance knowledge, with a 9/80 flex hybrid work schedule.

You will interact with project managers, CAMs, and senior staff to ensure EVMS procedures are followed, prepare IPMR/IPMDAR reports, and maintain cost/schedule baselines. US Citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; 8+ years of related experience.
• Proficient with MS Office; ERP tools may include SAP and DELTEK COBRA; MS Project experience.
• Must be able to obtain DoD security clearance.
• Two or more years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Experience interfacing directly with DCMA auditors or surveillance.
• Proficient in Excel (V-lookups, Pivot tables).
• Familiarity with accounting principles, planning, and manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure uniform application of Earned Value Management procedures with project teams.
• Prepare IPMR/IPMDAR, EACs, and variance analysis reports for customers.
• Maintain Earned Value requirements and monthly CDLR reporting.
• Support transition from IPMR to IPMDAR reporting per government rules.
• Develop WBS structures and related dictionaries; track baselines and change control.
• Provide program planning support: scheduling, budgeting, variance analysis, status reporting.
