Job summary

Serco is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to join a fast-paced team handling full life-cycle program finances. The role emphasizes multitasking, Excel proficiency, and learning program finances across various contract types in a hybrid office setting.

The successful candidate will conduct routine financial analyses for multiple projects, including EACs and customer deliverables, with experience in financial systems and data warehouses. U.S. citizenship and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis support to Program Managers, including WBS, BOEs and development of time-phased budgets/EACs and schedules.
• Support accounts receivable during billing processing and provide invoice backup when required.
• Monitor billing status and unbilled issues; coordinate with Contracts, Accounting and PMO to resolve issues.
• Oversee preparation of subcontractor and vendor accruals in line with GAAP/IFRS and internal policies.
• Support monthly business rhythms of the program and finance organizations; participate in meetings and program reviews.
• Administer formal program control in accordance with GAAP and corporate/government policies.
• Complete finance inputs for project setup and revenue recognition per contract terms.
• Liaise between operations and administrative support on financial issues.
• Interface with subcontractors, vendors, and customers as required.
