Job summary

By Light Professional IT Services LLC is seeking a Senior Program Control Analyst to support a government customer in McLean, VA, with a hybrid full-time schedule. You will oversee project finance, cost tracking, forecasts, EAC analysis, and reporting for multiple projects, collaborating with Corporate Finance and Program Management.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting or related field, 3+ years of accounting/finance experience, excellent communication, and Excel proficiency;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Math or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and track labor costs; analyze actuals and planned costs.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and ensure accuracy of project finances.
• Assist with invoicing, funding forecasts, and burn rate analysis.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis for cost, materials, and milestones.
• Maintain internal controls per contract requirements and standards.
• Monitor timesheet compliance and contractor hours; report issues.
