Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to join our fast-paced team and manage full life-cycle program finances, including cost, schedule and funding planning, EACs and budgets.

This hybrid role is based in San Diego, CA with potential telework; requires US citizenship, a Bachelor's degree, and at least 2 years of related experience, plus advanced Excel and GAAP/IFRS knowledge.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in finance or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial domain knowledge.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team with strong follow-up and execution.
• Travel up to 10% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis support to Program Managers.
• Assist with Work Breakdown Structures, BOEs and time-phased budgets/EACs.
• Support accounts receivable and billing backup when required.
• Monitor billing status and unbilled issues with contracts, accounting and PMO.
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor accruals in line with GAAP/IFRS.
• Support monthly program and finance rhythms and program reviews.
• Administer program control in accordance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Complete finance inputs for project setup and revenue recognition.
• Interface with subcontractors, vendors and customers on financial issues.
