Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a qualified Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst 2 to join our team. This on-site role in Clearfield, UT or Iuka, MS offers partial teleworking and requires strong analytical skills and leadership abilities.

The position involves budgeting, scheduling, cost analysis, and performance management across multiple contracts within IPTs. A DoD Secret clearance is desired, with competitive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in program control, cost planning, business, finance, budgeting and/or similar industry related fields or a Master’s degree with experience in program control, cost planning, business, finance, budgeting and/or similar industry related fields
• Experience with MS Office including Excel (with Macros, Pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and perform/assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
• Prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
• Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated and government cost control guidelines
• Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures and submitting timely funding requests
• Conduct cost analysis to develop EACs and support monthly cost and schedule reviews
• Identify pressures and opportunities, and develop recovery plans as required
• Set up cost control systems (e.g. CostPoint and COBRA) and update baselines
• Provide support to IPT, Cost Management and Business Management
• Assist CAMs with performance management activities including: WBS alignment, time phasing, performance methodologies, monthly performance measurement, EAC analysis, variance reporting
• Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management
• Prepare customer performance and status reports and performance measurement analysis
