Job summary

The candidate will perform financial analyses, funding profiles, and variance analysis, while updating program plans and ensuring alignment with the statement of work. DoD experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of professional work experience, OR Master’s Degree.
• Additional 4+ years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Microsoft Office experience, including MS Excel, will be needed for the role.
• Financial or accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Setting up cost control system, monitoring and controlling costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
• Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and performing financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
• Monitoring funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures and preparation of expenditure projections.
• Incorporating contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain baselines.
• Performing monthly financial reporting/forecasting and quarterly EACs; improving financial reporting processes.
