Job summary

Harvard University is seeking a Program Coordinator for the READS Lab at HGSE. The role supports the Project Manager and Curriculum & Learning Development Manager, handling administrative systems, communications, and logistics to advance literacy research partnerships with school districts.

The position is hybrid, with 3 days in the Cambridge office and 2 days remote. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; applicants should have 2 years of K-5 teaching or related experience and strong communication

Qualifications

• Two years of K-5 teaching experience or relevant work experience.
• Candidates moving to the final round will be asked to do a timed writing task.
• Candidates must submit a resume and cover letter. Any applicant wishing to be considered for this position must indicate that they meet all the basic requirements in either the cover letter or resume.

Responsibilities

• Project support (50%). Contributes to budgets, processes invoices, monitors expenses and reviews contracts as needed.
• Communications and social media (30%). Drafts newsletters, posts, emails, and manages content calendars.
• Events support (20%). Plans and executes Lab events and travel logistics.
