The role focuses on diagnosing and resolving production issues, including code and data changes when needed, while minimizing disruption to the broader engineering team. The position emphasizes identifying recurring issues, improving reliability, and automating support processes.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in application development, application support, software engineering, or a related technical role.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical point of contact for production issues, working with end users, IT teams, business partners, and external vendor IT teams to resolve problems.
• Independently investigate and resolve routine to moderately complex production issues with minimal assistance from the broader development team.
• Read, understand, troubleshoot, and modify existing application code or data to correct production issues.
• Use source code, logs, documentation, and monitoring information to investigate issues across familiar and unfamiliar systems.
• Develop, test, and deploy production fixes through established processes with minimal assistance.
