Job summary

Standard Textile Co., Inc. is seeking a Planner to own production scheduling, monitor materials, and coordinate between Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Senior Management.

You will create and maintain ERP schedules, manage contractor schedules, and ensure inventory levels meet demand. A Bachelor's degree and 1–5 years in planning or forecasting are preferred, with MRPl/MRP II experience a plus. This role is hybrid with in-office days Tue–Thu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; four-year college or university.
• 1-5 years' planning or forecasting experience preferred.
• Detail oriented with excellent communication and organization skills.
• MRP or MRP II experience in engineer-to-order or make-to-order environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the production schedule in the ERP system and communicate the production schedules to the manufacturing sites.
• Service customer demand needs and minimize backorders while maintaining acceptable finished goods inventory.
• Manage outside contractor schedules to coordinate supply chain activities to support scheduled production.
• Manage outside contractor relationships related to production.
• Understand equipment limitations and plant capabilities to maximize production efficiency and support other departments.
• Develop extensive knowledge of specific product line(s).
• Train and educate internal employees on finite scheduling and current planning and materials management techniques.
• Review and maintain stocking levels for stocked manufactured products.
• This role will also include inventory management functions and related systems information maintenance.
