Job summary

Standard Textile in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Production Planner to manage the production schedule in our ERP system, align material inventories, and monitor progress across sites.

The role requires collaboration with Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Senior Management, a Bachelor’s degree, and 1–5 years of planning or forecasting experience, with MRP/MRP II knowledge preferred. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement with in-office Tuesdays through Thursdays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university required.
• 1-5 years’ experience in a planning or forecasting position preferred.
• Detail oriented with excellent communication and organization skills.
• MRP or MRP II experience in an engineer-to-order, or make-to-order environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the production schedule in the ERP system
• Service customer demand needs and minimize backorders while maintaining inventory
• Manage outside contractor schedules to coordinate supply chain activities
• Understand equipment limitations and plant capabilities to maximize production efficiency
• Develop knowledge of specific product lines
• Train internal employees on scheduling and materials management techniques
• Review stocking levels for stocked manufactured products
• Inventory management and related systems information maintenance
