Job summary

Standard Textile is seeking a Production Planner (Finance) to oversee production scheduling, material inventories, and progress tracking. You will coordinate information between Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Senior Management to optimize schedules.

Responsibilities include maintaining ERP schedules, managing contractors, and ensuring efficient production flow. A Bachelor’s degree and 1–5 years planning experience are preferred; the role supports hybrid onsite/remote work and offers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–5 years' experience in a planning or forecasting position preferred.
• Detail oriented with excellent communication and organization skills.
• MRP or MRP II experience in an engineer-to-order or make-to-order environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the production schedule in the ERP system and communicate the production schedules to the manufacturing sites.
• Service customer demand needs and minimize backorders while maintaining an acceptable finished goods inventory.
• Manage outside contractor schedules to coordinate supply chain activities to support scheduled production.
• Manage outside contractor relationships related to production.
• Understand equipment limitations and plant capabilities to maximize production efficiency and support other departments.
• Develop extensive knowledge of product line(s).
• Train internal employees on finite scheduling and materials management techniques.
• Review and maintain stocking levels for stocked manufactured products.
• Inventory management and related systems information maintenance.
