Job summary

Owl Cyber Defense Solutions in Danbury, CT, is seeking a Production Buyer Planner for a hybrid work arrangement. You will manage BOMs, lead times, and procurement to meet production and customer orders while ensuring quality and delivery targets.

We value strong organizational skills, Excel proficiency, and experience with CRM/ERP/MRP systems. Candidates should be able to obtain US government security clearance and work three days per week in Danbury.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred in related field; experience may compensate.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP certifications are a plus.
• 2+ years in product/manufacturing with buyer/planner duties.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and track BOMs and manage lead times.
• Issue work orders to meet schedule and resolve shortages.
• Source, plan, and manage material requirements and procurement.
• Maintain inventory levels across locations and perform cycle counts.
• Issue RFQs and release purchase orders to suppliers.
• Coordinate logistics to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve issues and discrepancies.
• Oversee receiving and manage vendor nonconformances.
