Job summary

Movora is seeking an experienced Buyer/Planner to join our on-site team in Whippany, NJ. You will manage supplier purchase orders, develop production schedules, and coordinate with Sales, Manufacturing, QC, and suppliers to keep materials moving to ship-ready state.

The role requires 2–5 years in manufacturing or related fields, strong ERP/MRP skills, and the ability to balance purchasing with production planning in a fast-paced environment. On-site role with up to ~10% travel.

Qualifications

• Two to five years in manufacturing, scheduling, purchasing, or inventory control.
• Strong ERP/MRP knowledge and production capacity awareness.
• Experience reading engineering drawings is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules aligning with demand and inventory targets.
• Review forecasts, adjust orders, and coordinate production steps.
• Plan, place, and manage purchase orders; maintain ERP data.
• Monitor supplier performance and support negotiations on pricing and terms.
• Coordinate with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, and suppliers on priorities.
