Nelnet, Inc. (Nelnet Business Services) is seeking a Product Manager II for NBSApply in Lincoln, NE. This hybrid role develops market strategies, validates opportunities, and partners with product owners to deliver a clear product roadmap aligned with business goals.

You will engage with executives to shape vision and coordinate with marketing, sales, and development teams to drive growth in the education market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of product management experience.
• K-12 or education-market domain knowledge.
• Experience in a platform/hub-and-spoke product environment.
• Technical fluency — APIs, MCPs, and modern data architecture concepts.

Responsabilités

• Develops relationships to identify market opportunities and define market problems.
• Works with Marketing and Sales to provide guidance on competitive advantages and growth strategies.
• Profiles competitors and develops a strategy to win over 1–3 years.
• Ensures product backlog aligns with long-term vision with Product Owners.
• Maintains roadmaps and aligns them with strategic vision and yearly goals.
• Conducts win/loss analyses and shares results across the organization.
• Manages product launch processes and communications for effectiveness and client satisfaction.
• Monitors KPIs to measure market performance and impact on revenue goals.
