Nelnet Business Services (NBS), a division of Nelnet, Inc., seeks a Program Manager II to independently manage a portfolio of multi-departmental projects and programs. You will clarify requirements, track progress, and drive delivery in a hybrid Lincoln, Nebraska setting.

Requirements include 3+ years of PM experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong leadership and communications skills. PMP is preferred. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Proven record of success in previous projects.
• Experience with Project Management software.
• PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the plan surrounding project/program engagements.
• Sets realistic and practical goals for projects/programs while developing strategies.
• Documents communications, risks, and issues thoroughly and professionally.
• Measures project/program performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Provides project/program status reporting and tailors reports to the audience.
• Utilizes best practices, techniques, and standards in execution.
• Assists in developing workflow, processes, and procedures for the department.
• Is a resource for and mentor to those new to the project management team.
