Job summary

Pentair plc in North Aurora, IL is seeking a Product Manager to own the product lifecycle and drive profitability for key portfolios in the fire suppression vertical. The role requires collaboration across sales, finance, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing, with a focus on launches, pricing, and portfolio optimization.

You will work a hybrid schedule (3 days on-site) and lead cross-functional initiatives to grow the business while ensuring sustained profitability and strategic alignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Product Life Cycle management of engineered products/projects.
• Strong data analysis and ability to interpret Voice of the Customer (VOC).
• Experience collaborating with sales, finance, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and post-launch evaluation to drive profitability.
• Coordinate strategic initiatives for product portfolio, line optimization, pricing, and channel strategy.
• Develop demand plans and participate in SIOP processes to meet financial targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product cost, pricing, and revenue/margin.
• Support training materials and collateral for assigned product families.
