Job summary

KiddeFenwal, LLC is seeking a Product Manager for Fire Detection & Suppression in Ashland, MA. This hybrid role drives product strategy, roadmap execution, and lifecycle management for a global portfolio of detection, alarm, and suppression solutions.

You will voice customer needs, partner with engineering, and collaborate with commercial teams to strengthen positioning and accelerate growth, reporting to the Product Management Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards for Fire Detection and Suppression Systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel up to 25%, including internationally.

Responsibilities

• Market Intelligence & Strategy: Assess customers, competitors, and industry trends to shape portfolio direction.
• Product Development & Lifecycle Management: Lead NPD, sustaining engineering, VoC, and lifecycle planning.
• Sales Enablement & Go-to-Market: Define value propositions and develop collateral, tools, and documentation.
• Business Performance & Forecasting: Track performance, adjust pricing, and maintain forecasts.
• Cross-Functional & External Engagement: Represent the company at events and coordinate with engineering, operations, and finance.
