Job summary

US Foods offers a Summer Internship Program providing hands-on experience with the Digital Commerce team. Interns work full-time, 40 hours per week from June to August, with mentorship and performance feedback sessions.

Internships are hybrid, combining onsite and remote work, and may lead to a full-time role after graduation based on performance and availability. Sponsorship is not provided for visa status.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering/IS or related field.
• Must be enrolled in school during internship.
• Typically, students between junior and senior years or early graduate years will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Interact with product owners, managers and users to understand requirements and enhancement opportunities.
• Create requirements documentation and user stories outlining processes and specs.
• Participate in daily and weekly Agile ceremonies and team meetings.
• Translate requirements into feasible technical design with the development team.
• Assist in wireframe design discussions with the UX lead.
• Collaborate with testing to ensure implementations meet specs and diagnose issues.
• Participate in deployment planning for tools.
