Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage purchase orders, material tracking, and subcontract life cycle for projects. You will collaborate with engineering PMs, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely procurement and compliance. This role offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days in our Hamilton, NJ office and 2 days remote from home.

A Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of procurement experience are essential. Strong communication and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3-5 years in procurement and/or contract administration.
• Strong written, verbal, and people communication skills.
• Ability to work with project managers, engineers, clients, suppliers and contractors.
• Detail-oriented with ability to make educated judgments and take initiative.
• Team player and self-starter capable of completing projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders in internal systems.
• Material management, tracking and coordination.
• Track orders and deliveries in vendor systems.
• Travel to job sites to receive and inspect materials.
• Expedite suppliers, subcontractors, and engineering input as needed.
• Coordinate with engineering PMs, suppliers, contractors, and clients.
