SMBC Group seeks a Procurement Operations Specialist for an 18-month project in Charlotte, NC. You will support the full Procure-to-Pay lifecycle using Coupa, ServiceNow, and Fieldglass, ensuring requisitions, orders, catalogs, and vendor data are accurate.

The role requires 2–5 years in procurement, a high school diploma or BA/BS, and business fluency in English. This hybrid position offers a chance to contribute to transformation initiatives and to work within SMBC's Americas procurement team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated functional knowledge of procurement processes and technologies (supplier onboarding, requisitions, catalogs, POs).
• Experience creating, processing, and supporting purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Experience reviewing executed agreements and translating terms into purchase requisitions.
• Experience supporting contracts through drafting, review, approval, and execution.

Responsabilités

• Review and validate new purchase requisitions and ensure alignment with policies.
• Assist with purchase orders, including changes and inquiries from suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Support resolution of requisitions, PO and invoice issues.
• Facilitate contract requests through Coupa workflows with complete information.
• Maintain catalogs with accurate item, pricing, and supplier data.
• Contribute to process improvements across the Procure-to-Pay lifecycle.
