Job summary

CVS Health is looking for a Process Improvement Specialist to join the Pharmacy Services Finance Operations team in a hybrid role. The position supports cross-functional initiatives, from SIPOC mapping to value-stream analysis, and uses Lean, Six Sigma and DMAIC methodologies to deliver measurable improvements.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in operations, strong problem-solving and data skills, and a certification in Lean Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in internal operations and/or customer-facing services.
• 3+ years’ experience in problem solving and/or data collection, reporting, and analysis.
• 2+ years’ demonstrated experience leading process improvement initiatives resulting in quantifiable benefits.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or higher certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead PI opportunities with deliverables: process maps, baseline performance metrics, root cause analysis, recommended actions, and control plans.
• Participate in strategic and lead targeted assessments and support deliverables: framing, data collection, analysis/interpretation and recommendations.
• Run FOX topics with problem statements, root cause analysis (5 why’s) and corrective actions as applicable.
• Utilize FOX, DMAIC, LEAN, 8D and other methodologies in delivering results.
• Develop project charters with SMEs and stakeholders and gain approvals for updates.
• Document current/target state processes using SIPOC, flow charts and value-stream maps.
• Lead teams through FOX, Improvement and Assessment projects with project management basics and bi-weekly updates.
