Job summary

Gore is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our manufacturing engineering team supporting commercial production. You will sustain and improve processes, equipment, product quality, and scalability in a cross-functional environment at our Flagstaff, AZ facility with a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities include on-the-floor process support, problem solving using Lean/GMP, process validation, and leading multiple projects from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science with a minimum of 2 years of professional engineering experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
• Experience applying engineering fundamentals to develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and control products, processes, or technologies; ability to design experiments and analyze data.
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering projects within a defined area of responsibility.
• Ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects concurrently using standard project management tools.
• Ability to leverage critical thinking to identify issues and root causes using structured problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day process support for manufacturing lines, including maintaining fixtures and SOPs, and support transitions of new products into production.
• Identify opportunities and implement improvements to safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and capability using Lean/GMP and problem-solving methodologies.
• Design, implement and improve manufacturing processes to support operations.
• Understand critical process parameters to ensure products meet specs and customer requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Operations, and Technical teams to drive solutions and sustain performance.
• Lead projects from concept through implementation with clear timelines and stakeholder communication.
• Apply formal problem-solving techniques to determine root causes of issues and implement countermeasures.
• Conduct equipment and process validations and verifications that meet production and regulatory requirements.
• Document technical work clearly for cross-functional teams.
