Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks a Process Development Engineering Intern to connect R&D to manufacturing, developing scalable processes and test systems for high-volume production. You’ll work hands-on with equipment to design fixtures, apply data analysis, and support process validation across multiple business areas.

Ideal candidates are mechanical/biomedical/materials engineers, with curiosity, ownership of projects, and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Must graduate Fall 2027–Spring 2029 in Mechanical/Biomedical/Materials, or related field.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in future.
• Hands-on problem solving and teamwork across cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Connect R&D to Manufacturing with robust processes and systems.
• Develop scalable manufacturing processes and test systems.
• Work hands-on with equipment to design, test, and improve fixtures and tooling.
• Apply data analysis to evaluate process performance and direction.
• Support process development in laser processing, bonding, molding, validation.
