Goodwin Recruiting seeks a Private Event Sales Manager for a renowned hospitality venue in Santa Clara. You will drive event sales, manage inquiries, and coordinate with operations and culinary teams to deliver unforgettable private events.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in event sales within hospitality, catering, or venues and excels at closing deals while maintaining strong client relationships. This hybrid role offers base salary plus commission and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of event sales experience.
• Experience in hospitality, catering, food and beverage, private dining, or event venues preferred.
• Proven ability to develop new business, close sales, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication, organization, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple inquiries and events while staying organized and attentive to detail.
• Familiarity with Santa Clara and the greater Bay Area market is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Generate new business and develop relationships with corporate clients, local businesses, and individuals.
• Manage the full private event sales process, from initial inquiry and client consultation through proposals, contracts, and event coordination.
• Respond to leads promptly and follow up consistently to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Work closely with operations and culinary teams to ensure events meet client expectations.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of event business to help drive revenue.
• Maintain accurate sales records, track leads, and monitor booking activity.
• Represent the venue professionally and help build its reputation in the local market.
