Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a Privacy Office Administrator - Contracting and Drafting to analyze, draft, and negotiate a range of privacy-related agreements. The role supports and may lead privacy initiatives, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and state privacy laws across the organization.

The candidate will collaborate with the Privacy Office and other departments, serving as a subject matter expert during negotiations with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business or legal with 4 years experience in healthcare OR 8 years healthcare experience.
• Knowledge of and experience interpreting federal and state laws.
• Knowledge of HCSC's various functional areas and departments.
• Ability to lead departmental or divisional projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, draft, and negotiate various agreements for the Privacy Office.
• Provide opinion to ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve moderately complex privacy matters.
