Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) seeks a Privacy Office Coordinator to actively support and coordinate Privacy Office operations and initiatives. You will gather privacy case data, incidents, contracts, and privacy risk information and develop regular and ad-hoc reports.

You will manage data across various sources and systems, disseminate information to stakeholders, and track regulatory initiatives under federal and state laws, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR 4 years of work experience.
• Knowledge of the health care industry.
• Decision-making skills and analytical abilities.
• Verbal and written communication skills; listening skills; and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with peers and resolve issues or complete projects/initiatives.
• Problem resolution skills.
• Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information.
• PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate Privacy Office operations and initiatives.
• Gather privacy case, incident, contract, privacy risk, and privacy compliance data and develop reports.
• Analyze regular and ad-hoc reports for the Privacy Office.
• Manage databases and disseminate information from various sources and systems.
• Coordinate regulatory information dissemination via intranet and internet sites.
• Track and report on regulatory initiatives under federal and state laws.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
