Job summary

HCSC is seeking a privacy professional to analyze, draft, and negotiate various agreements to ensure compliance with federal and state privacy regulations. The role partners with the Privacy Office and stakeholders across the organization to drive privacy initiatives and serve as the privacy subject matter expert during negotiations with customers, vendors, and third parties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business or Legal and 4 years healthcare experience or 8 years in healthcare.
• Knowledge of and experience interpreting federal and state laws.
• Ability leading departmental or divisional projects.
• Negotiation, analytical, facilitation, communication and presentations skills.
• PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, draft, and negotiate various agreements for the Privacy Office.
• Opine to ensure compliance with federal and state privacy regulations.
• Support and drive key privacy initiatives and projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to resolve privacy matters.
• Serve as the privacy subject matter expert during negotiations with customers, vendors, and third parties.
