Job summary

Globe Life in McKinney, TX is seeking a Privacy Analyst to join the Compliance Department in a hybrid role. You will support day-to-day operations of the Privacy Office, ensure adherence to privacy laws, and manage data subject inquiries, privacy incidents, and policy development.

Under the Privacy Manager, you will promote a culture of privacy, provide education, lead cross-functional collaboration, and help implement risk-based controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of privacy-related work experience is required.
• Foundational understanding of GLBA, CCPA/CPRA, and HIPAA.
• Familiarity with basic data protection principles and standards.
• Ability to communicate policy with diverse audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and judgment to develop practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the privacy mailbox daily to acknowledge, intake, and resolve inquiries.
• Track privacy metrics and trends to identify process improvements.
• Support privacy risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Assist with privacy investigations, including intake, investigation, and resolution.
• Develop and maintain privacy policies, consents, notices, and related materials.
• Review privacy forms and policies for accuracy and alignment with risk tolerance.
• Support privacy outreach and awareness initiatives across the organization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify evolving data privacy risks.
