Job summary
Medidata, a Dassault Systèmes brand, seeks a Principal Software Engineer to guide the next generation of enterprise analytics and clinical trial software. You will lead a cross-functional team, drive architecture across distributed systems, and advance AI/ML capabilities in a high-availability cloud environment.
You will report to Engineering leadership and partner with executives to align technical strategy with business goals, while mentoring senior engineers and shaping long-term platform
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
Responsibilities
- Direct the long-term technical evolution and architectural strategy for Study Experience.
- Architect and deploy distributed environments with high availability and cost-efficiency.
- Orchestrate engineering efforts across domains and enable cross-team integration.
- Establish engineering benchmarks and shared infrastructure patterns.
- Manage architectural oversight with RFCs and ADRs.
- Drive AI/ML and edge computing experiments into production.
- Translate high-level goals into technical roadmaps for executives.
- Cultivate growth of Senior and Staff engineers.
- Champion operational excellence with SLOs and observability.
