Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ seeks a senior Project Engineer for the Electric Power Generation Project Engineering team. The role works hybrid from our Phoenix location, collaborating with leadership, customers, and cross‑functional teams to drive program performance.

Reporting to the Sr Engineering Manager, you will develop schedules, manage CAM activities, and lead systems engineering efforts with a focus on NPD and turbine engine knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Project engineering, Test engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience with Control Account Management (CAM).

Responsibilities

• Support and lead systems and test engineering efforts including requirements management, system integration, and engine development/qualification test efforts.
• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), track project milestones, and ensure adherence to strict technical requirements.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve project goals.
• Prepare and present monthly budget and schedule updates, including CAM activities.
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Act as the primary liaison between team leadership and customers, providing regular updates on program status and addressing any concerns.
